AMINUR RAHMAN is considered to be one of the most well-known poets in abroad from Bangladesh. He has published seven collections of poems in Bangla. His work has been translated in more than twenty five languages and has poetry books in English (5), Spanish (4), German, Japanese, Mongolian (chapbook), Arabic, Chinese, Bahasa Malay, Russian and French. He is a renowned writer and art critic and has three prose books in his credit. As an accomplished translator he has translated thirteen books of poetry and edited few poetry magazines and books including, The Dhaka Review SAARC Anthology of poems and short stories etc. As an invited author, Aminur Rahman has read his work world-wide at various international arts & literary festivals, universities and cultural venues. He has represented Bangladesh in the Poetry Festival in Colombia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Austria, India, Iraq, Japan, Sri Lanka, Spain, Nicaragua etc. He was Awarded Chinggish Khaan Gold Medal (2006), Heaven Horse Award (2015) in Mongolia, Numera World Award of Letters (2016) in Malaysia, Contribution Award for International Poetry (2016) in Taiwan, Poet Dinesh Das Award (2019) in India, Menada Award (2019) in Macedonia, Bangla Academy Award (2021) Bangladesh.

Sólgarðurin, the poetry collection of Faroese poet Beinir Bergsson has been nominated for the 2022 Nordic Council Literature Prize. The Literature Prize is handed — along with prizes for music, film, the environment, and children and young people’s literature — at an awards ceremony during the annual autumn Session of the Nordic Council. The Nordic House in Reykjavik is responsible for the administration of the 300,000 DKK prize (40,300 EUR). Sólgarðurin (in English: The Sun Garden), was published in 2021 by publisher Forlagið Eksil. The collection is described as follows by the Nordic Council’s website: “An epoch-making expansion of the (lyrical) literary landscape of the Faroe Islands. In this poetry collection, poetic neo-materialism is juxtaposed with youthful, unabashed sexuality and melancholy reminiscence. In many ways, the poems are a classic story of growth — and yet not. For the poems do not seem particularly interested in leaving or escaping places, or in putting distance between the poet-self’s present and the poet-self’s past. The one does not exclude the other for Beinir: sexual desire is not at the expense of the family, the line — rather the contrary. Desire and sexuality are creative and expansive, and the reader is left with the feeling that the world has actually grown larger through this collection of poems”. Beinir Bergsson made his debut as a published poet in 2017 with the poetry collection ‘Tann lítli drongurin og beinagrindin’ (The Little Boy and the Skeleton), which portrays, inter alia, the loss of a parent, the poet-self’s father. The work won the EBBA award, the annual literature prize of the Faroese Writers’ Association.

Dr. R. Cheran is Tamil Canadian academic, poet, playwright and journalist. He is a professor at the University of Windsor in Canada. He has authored over fifteen books in Tamil, and his work has been translated into twenty languages. Several volumes of his work have been published in English translation, including The Second Sunrise (translated by Lakshmi Holmstrom, 2010), In a Time of Burninq (translated by Lakshmi Holmstrom and Sasha Ebeling, 2013) and You Cannot Turn Away. (translated by Chelva Kanaganayakam, 2011). His poems in English translation have also been published in numerous literary magazines, such as Bomb (New York), Modern Poetry in Translation, Many Mountains Moving, Exiled Ink, Mantra Review, and Talisman. His poems have been included in several anthologies, including singing in the dark, An Anthology of Lockdown Poems (2020).

Ely Rosa Zamora left her native Venezuela after graduating from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Caracas. She came to New York in 1998 invited by the legendary Judith Malina to join The Living Theater. In 2009 she received an MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University. Her work has been presented in different International Poetry Festivals in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador, England, Italy, Perú, Venezuela, Morocco and the United States. Her poetry is included in the Anthology Voces para Lilith Literatura contemporánea de temática lésbica en Sudamérica, (Lima: Estruendomudo, 2011), and in the anthology of The Americas Poetry Festival of New York, (New York: Artepoética Press, 2014). She is the director and producer of the bilingual poetry reading series “Voces de la ciudad/ Voices of the City". She is a Spanish professor at Middlesex County College.

HUGO MUJICA was born in Buenos Aires in 1942. He studied Fine Arts, Philosophy, Philosophical Anthropology and Theology. This range of studies reflects itself in the variation of its works that covers so much the philosophy, like the anthropology, the narrative as the mystic and above all the poetry. Among his main books of essays are “Origen y destino” (1987), “La palabra inicial” (1995), “Flecha en la niebla” (1997), “Poéticas del vacío” (2002), “Lo naciente” (2007), “La casa y otros ensayos” (2008), “La pasión según Georg Trakl” (2009) , “El saber del no saberse” (2014) , “Dioniso. Eros creador y mística pagana” (2016) and “La carne y el mármol. Francis Bacon y el arte griego” (2018). “Solemne y mesurado” (1990) and “Bajo toda la lluvia del mundo” (2008), are his two short storybooks. His poetry work, initiated in 1983, has been published in Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guatemala, Peru, El Salvador, France, Italy, Slovenia, United States, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Israel, England, Sweden and Bulgaria. In 2013-2014 Vaso Roto Ed. -Mexico-Spain- published his “Del crear y lo creado”, 3 volums with almost his complete work of poetry and essays. In 2013 he published “Cuando todo calla” that won the “XIII Premio Casa de América de Poesía Americana”, followed by “Barro desnudo” (2016) his up to now last poetry book. Some of his books has been translated and published into more than 10 languages. His life and trips have been the main material of his work, milestones as the to have lived and participated of the decade of the 60 life in the Greenwich Village of new York, as plastic artist, or to have quiet for seven years in the silence of the monastic life of the Trappist Order, where began write, they are some of the steps of his own history.

Her poems have been published in important literary magazines in various countries, in different virtual media and in national and international anthologies. She has appeared in various local, national and international poetry meetings, some of them are: the 28th and 30th Medellín International Poetry Festival and the XII Guayaquil International Poetry Festival: Ileana Espinel Cedeño, Ecuador. It has been translated into Arabic, Kannada, Vietnamese, French, Nepali, Italian, Bengali and English, and published in some media in England, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Egypt and Spain. She is the author of the poetry collections Ensoñaciones Grises (2018), Jardines de Ónix (2020), ದೇವಿ ಸಂಪುಟ "Devi Samputa" (published in India: translation by HS Shiva Prakash, 2020) and the personal anthology Fotografía del Vacío (2020).

Margarita Losada Vargas (Neiva, Huila – Colombia, 1983). Margarita is the author of the book Mejor Arder (2013), and co-author of La Persistencia de lo Inútil (2016). Her poems have been included in the bilingual (Spanish-French) anthology of Colombian poetry Vientre de luz / Ventre de lumiere 14 Colombian poets + Raul Gomez Jattin (Thieves of the Time, 2017) and the Italian poetry anthology Il corpo Il eros (Ladolfi editore, 2018). She currently writes poems, works in psychology, teaches at the university, and sings in a punk rock band.
